Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 01 Arrival Colombo - Munneswaram - Manavari - Kandy

  After your arrival at Colombo airport. Get received by our representative. Depart from Colombo towards Kandy. En-route, visit Munneswaram Temple, one of the five ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Manavari Temple, believed to be the first place where Lord Rama installed a Shiva Lingam. Arrive in Kandy, check into your hotel, and spend the evening exploring the city or attending a cultural show

• Day : 02Kandy - Ramboda - Nuwara Eliya

  Visit the Ramboda Falls, where Hanuman is believed to have visited during his search for Sita. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England," nestled amidst lush tea plantations. Visit Seetha Amman Temple, dedicated to Sita, and Ashoka Vatika, where Sita was held captive by Ravana. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

• Day : 03Nuwara Eliya - Ella - Katharagama

  Depart for Ella, known for its scenic beauty. Visit the Ravana Ella Falls, associated with the Ramayana. Continue to Katharagama, a sacred pilgrimage site. Visit Kataragama Temple, dedicated to Lord Murugan, believed to be where Lord Rama and Sita worshiped Lord Murugan during their exile. Overnight stay in Katharagama.

• Day : 04Katharagama - Tissamaharama - Bentota

  Visit Tissamaharama, where Rama and his army are believed to have stayed during their journey. Explore the Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara, one of the largest stupas in Sri Lanka. Depart for Bentota, a coastal town known for its beautiful beaches. Relax and unwind at your beach resort.

• Day : 05Bentota - Galle - Colombo

  Visit Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its colonial architecture. Explore Galle Fort, which has historical significance dating back to the 16th century. Return to Colombo in the evening. Enjoy some last-minute shopping or leisure time in Colombo.

• Day : 06Colombo Sightseeing

  Explore more of Colombo, visiting places like the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara, believed to have been visited by Lord Buddha. Take a stroll along Galle Face Green, a popular seafront promenade. Visit the Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Colombo, experiencing Sri Lankan cuisine. Overnight stay in Colombo.

• Day : 07Departure

  Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your Ramayana Trail journey in Sri Lanka
